The Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Archaeology Department stands out in its mission to contribute significantly to training professional staff with outstanding skills and disseminating archaeological knowledge through research projects and fieldwork. Our country, as a vital source of geography for national and multinational archaeological excavation campaigns and surveys, provides rich historical and cultural knowledge that has continuously expanded from the Paleolithic Period to the end of the Roman Period. This knowledge is shared in the content of the courses offered in our department, making it a unique and reliable source of education in the field of archaeology.

MISSION -VISION

With their continuous stream of new findings and discoveries, the Anatolian lands maintain their status as an essential geography in world cultural history.
